Live an unforgettable experience with Bergerac wines! - 3 days / 2 nights
Bergerac, Cyrano’s hometown, is the perfect destination for a short break and easily accessible from the UK thanks to low cost carriers. One of its main attractive assets is the vineyards that surround the town and that you will discover during a visit to Chateau Monbazillac, the place to be to admire a unique architecture and to taste the best sweet white wine. Your knowledge of the Bergerac wines will be (nearly!) complete thanks to the visit to 3 other wine estates (a gift of 3 bottles will be given by each winegrower! – a nice souvenir to share with friends back home). As Bergerac was built around a port, you will enjoy a cruise on a “gabarre”, a flat bottomed barge which use to ferry goods and wines to Bordeaux.
