Gastronomy and art of living in Burgundy

Gastronomy and art of living in Burgundy

Uniquely diverse, Burgundy offers an exceptional array of activities for adults and kids alike in a region of exceptional beauty!

World-famous for its fine wines, Burgundy isn’t only about vineyards. Steeped in history, it’s uniquely diverse - vibrant yet relaxing, traditional yet contemporary.

Renowned for its gastronomy, Burgundy boasts some of France’s most famous eating places. Here you’ll find innovative chefs putting a contemporary twist on some of our most traditional favourites. Try some regional specialities such as tender Charolais beef, tasty Epoisses cheese not forgetting the classic Boeuf Bourguignon, and of course Dijon mustard. Enjoy a glass of Kir®, an aperitif made from blackcurrant liqueur or cassis and crisp white Bourgogne Aligoté. Get close to nature in the Morvan Regional Nature Park, a dramatic area of granite rocks, vast forests and tumbling rivers. Burgundy is a paradise for cyclists with more than 500 miles of safe itineraries making up Burgundy by Bike ® or take to the water and boat peacefully along some of the 800 miles of navigable rivers and canals.
