Lavender routes

From the Alps to the littoral, it is many itineraries and perfumed strolls that crisscross Provence in the footsteps of this emblematic plant. From the plateaus of Valensole to the distilleries of Sault at the foot of the Mont Ventoux, from the gardens of Valsaintes to Simiane to the perfume workshop of Forcalquier, from the Coustellet museum in the Luberon to the Digne-les-Bains fair, the diversity of activities will satisfy the most curious. Each path reveals some of the secrets of this blue gold that dye with subtlety the scenery of July. Fine lavender or lavandin, the virtues are multiple and continue to be exploited in perfumery, aromatherapy and even gastronomy!

The blooming seasons is concentrated from mid-June to mid-August depending on the location, but the pleasures of discovery are spread throughout the year on these lands of Provence.
