Vignobles & Découvertes : Rhône Crussol
The Vignobles & Découvertes label aims to provide quality visits and services on the theme of wine. The label appeals to a customer base that appreciates the world of wine without necessarily being connoisseurs, and offers a range of quality services: accommodation, cultural sites, activities and leisure, cellars to visit, restaurants, exploration of natural spaces, events, etc.
Two destinations in Rhône Valley have been awarded the label : D'Hermitage en Saint-Joseph and Rhône Crussol.Destination : Rhône Crussol
The “Rhône Crussol” destination covers six districts characterised by a landscape of hillsides flanked by prestigious vineyards laid out in terraces: Châteaubourg, Cornas, Guilherand-Granges, Saint-Péray, Soyons and Toulaud.The Crussol - Côtes du Rhône region is where the Saint-Péray and Cornas AOCs are found and also includes many Saint-Joseph plots.
The “Rhône Crussol” destination offers a selection of seven partner cellars open to tourists and a dozen accommodation options, along with a choice of seven restaurants serving traditional cuisine with food and wine recommendations. Visitors will be welcomed by Rhône Crussol Tourisme tourist office, or by a tourist centre in the area. Visitors will be able to discover sites such as the Château de Crussol or the Farming and wine museum, and can enjoy a number of activities linked to wine available in several languages, and events that highlight the region and its local traditions.
